Stewards/Representatives Training
How to Help the Bullied Member. Teaches complexity of origins of trauma and the difficulty of dealing with the traumatized. Minimum 2 hours.
Introducing Anti-Bullying Provisions in Your Bargaining Agreement
Meetings with Union Leadership and Negotiation Committee Members. How to hold the employer accountable via (a) contract language, and (b) adoption of internal policies that expand current anti-harassment and anti-violence provisions. Includes primer on legislation written to make 'status-blind' harassment actionable in court, which helps drive accountability through the channels described in this session.
Survey Membership to Assess Bullying Prevalence
Customized membership survey of the frequency of all types of mistreatment (its nature, perpetrator characteristics, health consequences, employer and union efforts to correct), including illegal harassment, posted online for completion by your members. You may add a small number of items to the inventory. We then analyze and interpret the data and provide the union with a report.
